Here’s a question from a reader: Quite often i need to create a few instances of the same meeting requests in Microsoft Outlook. Are you aware of a simple way to duplicate a occurrence of an Outlook appointment by using copy and paste, as creating a meeting series for scheduling a few meetings might be somewhat of an overkill. Help is highly appreciated! Thanks for your questions. Keep those coming! Duplicate Outlook meetings (same calendar) You can easily copy and duplicate meeting entries in your Outlook calendar by highlighting the meeting in your calendar view and simply copying it by hitting Control+C, and then paste it to your preferred time by hitting Control+V.
Check this article: Export email messages, contacts, and other items from Outlook 2016 for Mac. Please take note that Outlook 2016 for Mac has not yet integrated the option to export folders in the Finder. However, you can move emails to folders “On My Computer” within Outlook though. In Outlook for Mac there are then 2 events and one is a Meeting and one is an Appointment. The main thing here is this happens when i Import events from an excel spreadsheet. The old event stays in the Mac Outlook calendar as a 'Appointment', but there is a duplicate calendar item that then shows up as a 'Meeting'.. So there is 2 events and only 1 event on the Exchange Server and PC calendars.
An alternative method is to simply right click your meeting in Calendar and drag it to the right time slot. After doing this, make sure to review your meeting subject, location and invitation content as those might have changed. When using this at work on Microsoft Exchange server, you also might need to review the list of attendees and their availability, as people might be tied in other meetings. If applicable, go ahead and check the availability of a meeting room and any other equipment/resources for your meeting. Note: Duplicating appointments and meetings within the same Outlook calendar is not supported in Microsoft Office for MAC OSX. Copying meetings between calendars Using the same process you can duplicate a meeting across multiple calendars defined in your Outlook client. Copying an entire calendar Outlook allows you to copy an entire calendar including all appointments, meetings and events.

Outlook supports the use of multiple calendars, each with its own color scheme, to let you keep separate schedules for different clients, projects or teams. The software offers a great deal of flexibility when it comes to viewing and managing these calendars: you can have several calendars up on screen at once for comparison purposes, and quickly copy and move appointments from one calendar to another when necessary. Appointments keep the same date, time and other properties when moved between calendars. Tips. To create a new calendar, right-click (or tap-and-hold) on one of the existing calendars in the left-hand pane and choose 'New Calendar.' Give the calendar a name, specify a location and click 'OK' to confirm.
To copy an event from one calendar to another, rather than move it, select the original appointment and press 'Ctrl+C.' Switch to the second calendar and press 'Ctrl+V' to paste a copy of the appointment at the same date and time. Certain calendar events, such as those synced from elsewhere or on externally hosted calendars, cannot be moved. You can opt to copy these events instead.
